Our Commitment

We believe in being open with our customers about how your purchases make a difference and where your money goes. Here’s a breakdown of how our donations and finances are working as we grow:

Elephants

We are deeply committed to supporting elephants in need. From every bracelet sold, we donate $2 directly to elephant conservation efforts, which represents over 40% of our current profits after accounting for the costs of goods, marketing, and running the company. This demonstrates our dedication to making a meaningful impact, while also investing in the growth and sustainability of our business.

Marketing + Growth

As a growing company, our costs, particularly in marketing, are currently higher than we anticipate they will be in the coming years. Right now, our cost per acquisition (essentially what it costs us to bring in each new customer) averages around $20. For example, if you found us through an Instagram or Facebook ad, we paid about $20 to reach you! We’re actively working to reduce this cost as we scale.

Reforestation

In addition to our donations, we’re proud to plant 3 trees for every order. These trees help offset the carbon footprint of shipping your orders and contribute to reforestation efforts in Africa, which, in turn, support elephant habitats and other crucial environmental initiatives. Reforestation plays a key role in restoring ecosystems that elephants and other wildlife depend on.

The Ocean

We’re proud to remove 1 pound of plastic from the ocean for every order. This effort helps to restore marine ecosystems, protecting marine wildlife from the harmful effects of plastic pollution. By reducing ocean plastic, we’re playing a vital role in safeguarding the habitats that countless marine species rely on, ensuring a healthier future for our oceans and the creatures that call them home.
